  • 1 cup Almond or cashew milk

  4. Serve chilled or at room temp.

Plant & Growing Tips

Strawberries

  • Not in the recipe, but grow for a fresh, sweet addition to your muesli.
  • Plant in full sun in well-drained soil, ensuring good air circulation.
  • Keep plants watered, especially when fruits are developing, and mulch to keep berries clean.

Mint

  • Not in the recipe, but a few fresh mint leaves can add a refreshing touch to your breakfast.
  • Mint is easy to grow in a pot to contain its aggressive spread, preferring partial shade and moist soil.
  • Trim regularly to encourage bushy growth and prevent flowering.

Natural Pest Control

  • Slugs/Snails (Strawberries): Use beer traps or copper tape barriers around strawberry beds.
  • Birds (Strawberries): Cover ripening plants with netting to protect fruits.
  • Aphids (Mint): Blast off with a strong jet of water or use insecticidal soap for infestations.

Harvest

Strawberries

  • Pick when fruits are fully red, plump, and ripe, usually in late spring or early summer.
  • Harvest every 1-2 days during peak season to encourage more fruit production.

Mint

  • Snip leaves as needed for immediate use, harvesting before the plant flowers for best flavor.
  • Cut back entire stems to encourage new, tender growth.
