Kansas City BBQ Chicken (with Herb Rub)

Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced

- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper

Cooking Steps
Prepare rub
Mix olive oil, garlic, thyme, rosemary, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Season chicken
Coat chicken evenly. Marinate 30 minutes–overnight.
Grill or bake
Grill: medium-high heat, 5–7 minutes each side. Bake: 400°F (200°C) for 25–35 minutes.
Glaze
Brush with BBQ sauce during last 5 minutes.
Serve
Add fresh herbs or extra sauce.
