Air-Fryer Crispy Parmesan Brussels Sprouts

These air-fryer crispy Brussels sprouts are perfectly charred and coated in a savory Parmesan crust, bringing a burst of flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 500g Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

Method

  1. 1

Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).

  2. 2

In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 3

Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the Brussels sprouts and toss again to combine.

  4. 4

Place the Brussels sprouts into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crisping.

  5. 5

After 10 minutes, check for desired crispiness. If needed, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

Drizzle with balsamic vinegar before serving for added flavor.

Swaps & variations

  • 1. Use nutritional yeast instead of Parmesan for a dairy-free option.
  • 2. Replace balsamic vinegar with lemon juice for a brighter flavor.
  • 3. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.

Storing & freezing

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 160°C (320°F) for 5 minutes to retain crispiness.
