Salmon Burgers
Fresh salmon burgers rich in omega-3s, brightened with lemon and dill — a light, protein-packed alternative.
Ingredients
- 500g salmon fillet, finely chopped
- 1 spring onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp dill, chopped
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1 egg
- Salt & pepper
- 1 tsp olive oil
Method

Mix the chopped salmon with spring onion, dill, lemon zest, mustard, egg and seasoning.

Shape into 4 patties and chill 15 minutes.

Pan-fry in a little olive oil 3–4 minutes each side.

Serve in wholegrain buns with salad and yogurt-lemon sauce.
Swaps & variations
- Use tinned salmon in a hurry
- Add a pinch of chilli
- Serve over greens instead of a bun
Storing & freezing
Uncooked patties keep 1 day; cooked 2 days.
