Fried Green Tomatoes
A Southern classic using unripe tomatoes and a crispy cornmeal coating.

- 3–4 firm green tomatoes (unripe)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 egg + 2 tbsp milk
- Salt & pepper
- Oil for frying
- Optional: paprika, garlic powder, remoulade sauce
