California Avocado Toast (Homegrown Style)

A refreshing West Coast favorite using fresh avocado, tomato, and basil.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1–2 small tomatoes, sliced
  • A handful of fresh basil leaves
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt & pepper
  • Optional: chili flakes, olive oil, poached egg, microgreens

Avocados brown quickly—best eaten immediately. Tomato slices keep 1 day refrigerated.
